From the 15-th to the 19-th of April, the Baltic Olympiad in Informatics 2026 was held in Espoo, Finland. A total of 66 contestants from 11 countries took part in the competition. The Ukrainian team won five silver medals and one bronze medal.

The Ukrainian team included:

🥈 Daria Perekopska, an 11th-grade student at the Dnipro Scientific Lyceum of Information Technologies (coach: Valentyn Melnyk), won a silver medal;

🥈 Illia Shevchenko, an 11th-grade student at Kharkiv Lyceum “Boyko Author’s School” (coaches: Valentyn Melnyk, Oleksandr Mitsa, and Mykola Arzubov), won a silver medal;

🥈 Roman Mielamud, an 11th-grade student at the Mariupol Lyceum of the City of Kyiv (coach: Valentyn Melnyk), won a silver medal;

🥈 Vladyslav Khalin, a 10th-grade student at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 118 (coach: Valentyn Melnyk), won a silver medal;

🥈 Anton Perebyinis, an 11th-grade student at Khmelnytskyi Lyceum No. 17 (coaches: Andrii Popyk and Stepan Simak), won a silver medal;

🥉 Roman Sadovnikov, a 9th-grade student at Dnipro Gymnasium No. 58 (coach: Oleksii Sadovnikov), won a bronze medal.

The team leaders were Maryna Nadtochii and Kostiantyn Savchuk. The trip was organized by the Ukrainian Federation of Olympiad Programming. The trip was sponsored by Citadel.
