From the 26-th of February to the 2-nd of March, the Ukrainian Junior and Girls’ Olympiads in Informatics 2026 were held in Kraków. A total of 31 junior contestants and 31 girls took part in the olympiads.

The participants went through three selection rounds to qualify for the onsite finals.

The absolute winner of the Junior Olympiad was Denys Ilienkov, a 9th-grade student at Kryvyi Rih Gymnasium No. 65.

The winner of the Girls’ Olympiad was Daria Perekopska, an 11th-grade student at the Dnipro Scientific Lyceum of Information Technologies.

The top 12 participants in each olympiad will continue competing for the right to represent Ukraine at the European Olympiads in Informatics.
