Central European Olympiad in Informatics

The Central European Olympiad in Informatics (CEOI) is an annual informatics olympiad for the countries of Central Europe: Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine. It has been held since 1994.

Ukraine has been a permanent member since 2025, with a vote and a guaranteed place every year; before that it took part as a guest country. Which team goes depends on the calendar: if CEOI falls before the International Olympiad in Informatics, the IOI team travels; if after, the Balkan Olympiad team does.

To qualify to the Olympiad, you need to participate in the Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics.
