From the 10-th to the 14-th of April, the Ukrainian Junior and Girls’ Olympiads in Informatics 2025 were held in Kraków.

A total of 30 juniors and 31 girls participated in the Olympiad. They advanced to the in-person final after completing three selection rounds.

Once again, four participants from Poland took part in the olympiad out of competition.

The overall winner of the Junior Olympiad was Vladyslav Khalin, a 9th-grade student at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 118.

The winner of the Girls’ Olympiad was Viktoria Lavrova, a 11th-grade student at Kremenchuk Scientific Lyceum "Polit".

The top 12 participants from each Olympiad will continue competing for the opportunity to represent Ukraine at the European Olympiads in Informatics.

The Olympiad was organised by the Ukrainian Federation of Olympiad Programming in cooperation with Jagiellonian University.
