1-7 of September, the International Olympiad in Informatics 2024 took place in Alexandria, Egypt. 370 participants from 93 countries took part in the Olympiad.

Team Ukraine received three silver and one bronze medal:

🥈 Denys Tereshchenko, the 11-th grade student at Education center "Optima" LLC (coach – Valentyn Menlyn), has received a silver medal;

🥈 Andrii Smutchak, the 11-th grade student at Kyiv Natural Science Lyceum No. 145 (coach – Andrii Popyk), has received a silver medal;

🥈 Illia Permiakov, the 11-th grade student at Kharkiv Academic Lyceum No. 45 (coaches – Valentyn Melnyk and Mykola Arzubov), has received a silver medal;

🥉 Ihnat Zharikhin, the 11-th grade student at Kharkiv Academic Lyceum No. 45 (coaches – Valentyn Melnyk and Mykola Arzubov), has received a bronze medal;

The team leaders were: Valentyn Melnyk, Anton Tsypko, Yana Cheishvili. The trip was sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science and Ukraine and company Citadel.
