From the 23-rd to the 29-th of May, the selection camp for the International Olympiad in Informatics 2026, which will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics 2026, which will be held in Tirana, Albania, took place in Wrocław.

The following students qualified for the Ukrainian team for the International Olympiad in Informatics:

• Vladyslav Khalin, a 10th-grade student at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 118 of the Kharkiv City Council (coach: Valentyn Melnyk);

• Illia Shevchenko, an 11th-grade student at Boyko Author's School (coaches: Valentyn Melnyk, Oleksandr Mitsa, and Mykola Arzubov);

• Daria Lobas, an 11th-grade student at Adam Mickiewicz Secondary School No. III in Wrocław;

• Daria Perekopska, an 11th-grade student at the Dnipro Scientific Lyceum of Information Technologies (coach: Valentyn Melnyk).

The following students qualified for the Ukrainian team for the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics:

• Vladyslav Khalin, a 10th-grade student at Kharkiv Lyceum No. 118 of the Kharkiv City Council (coach: Valentyn Melnyk);

• Andrii Kuzma, a 10th-grade student at the Uzhhorod Scientific Lyceum (coach: Serhii Vapnichnyi);

• Rostyslav Yabchenko, a 10th-grade student at Natural Sciences Lyceum No. 145 of Kyiv (coaches: Valentyn Melnyk and Iryna Skliar);

• Benedykt Kvasnytsya, a 7th-grade student at Lviv Lyceum No. 52 (coaches: Yaroslav Pyrih and Kyrylo Hrynevych).
